Director/GM - Brazil Operations

SPX Tools and Equipment Group has an immediate opening for a Director/General Manager with the opening of a new business unit in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This position will provide executive leadership to the Brazil – Tools and Equipment Operation. This position will have overall profit and loss responsibility, and will set and implement the strategic direction for the Brazil business. Revenue potential is approximately $3 – $6 million dollars. The business currently provides tools and equipment programs to OEMs, which also provide administration, service and program management. The Aftermarket business designs, manufactures and markets specialty tools, diagnostic systems and service equipment.



This position will direct all activities for the sales and marketing of OE and Aftermarket brand tools, equipment, diagnostic and programs. This position will also direct the support functions, which will include: finance, purchasing, distribution, etc. This person will facilitate communication between SPX global sites with regard to process implementation, pricing strategies, and staffing needs.



The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or related field (MBA preferred); extensive experience (8-10 years) direct automotive industry; background in financial management with full P&L accountability; outstanding communication skills and a proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
